A special program was held for our students who returned to our faculty with the TRT Future Communicators Awards.

A special program was held for our students who won first and third place and won the final special award in the TRT Future Communicators Competition, which made our faculty very proud in the past days. Works were shown to our award-winning students in a special program in the Conference Hall of our Faculty with the participation of Omar Saleh, Mehmet Emin Rehan and Gökdeniz Demiral, Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Dr. Emre Tandırlı, project advisors; Head of the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema Assoc. Prof. Dr. Derya Çetin, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayhan Küngerü, academics and the project team and many of our students, presentations were made, presentation certificates were given and a group photo was taken. The program flow and presentation was undertaken by Yağmur Altundağ, a 4th year student of the Journalism Department. The photo and video shootings were carried out by our Faculty Media Coordination Unit.
The screening of the 1st prize work, "The Last Shout Gaza", was emotional.
First, Omar Selah's 1st prize work, "The Last Shout Gaza", was screened. Everyone in the hall experienced deep emotions due to the narration of the tragedy. The cruelty experienced in Gaza was once again brought to light. Afterwards, the 3rd prize work in the animation category, "The Great Meeting", conducted by Mehmet Emin Rehan and jointly realized by a group of our students, was screened. The meaningful animation work was done with the stop motion technique. The film, which was created with the intensive efforts of our students in the project team, was highly appreciated. Finally, Gökdeniz Demiral's special work, "The Two Faces of Football", which was a finalist in the Radio Program category, was played. The work attracted great attention with its effective style. All the works received intense applause.
After the screenings, our students who won awards made short speeches about their works. Omar Selah, who won the first prize, emphasized the importance of current productions in the fields of Radio, Television and Cinema reflecting the truth and the tragedies experienced. Mehmet Emin Rehan, the project manager of the animation work that won the third prize, expressed that he was excited and that he was eager to produce even more advanced works with this motivation as a team. Finally, Gökdeniz Demaral, who received the final special award, stated that he saw this first award as an opportunity that would open the door to greater successes.
After the presentation speeches of our students, the project advisors took the floor.
The advisor of the project called Büyük Kavuşma, which won the 3rd prize from our students' project advisors, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Derya Çetin, Head of the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, stated in her speech that the difficulties of the process and the success that emerged as a result were invaluable. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayhan Küngerü, the advisor of Omar Saleh and Gökdeniz Demaral, said that there may always be some technical and technological deficiencies, but that with a good project, no matter what the available opportunities are, success can be achieved. He stated that this success is an example of this.
Finally, our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Emre Tandırlı thanked the advisor faculty members and students, and stated that the awards have invaluable spiritual value, that these spiritual awards will not be forgotten today, and that even after decades, this spirituality resurfaces as a manifestation of the successes achieved in professional life.
