Our students Omar Saleh, Mehmet Emin Rehan and Gökdeniz Demiral, who won the TRT Future Communicators Competition, paid a courtesy visit to our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alişarlı, together with the Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Dr. Emre Tandırlı, advisor academicians and the project team.

Our students presented the awards they won in the TRT Future Communicators Competition to Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alişarlı. Rector Alişarlı congratulated our students who successfully represented our University in this important competition organized by TRT and returned with awards from the competition, and presented the students and advisor academicians Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ercan Aktan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Derya Çetin, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayhan Küngerü, Res. Asst. He presented ‘Certificates of Achievement’ to Ali Şahin and Ramazan Sarı.

In the competition organized by TRT for the 10th time this year, a total of 2,618 students from 130 universities competed with 1,702 works. In this important competition, Omar Saleh, one of our students from the Department of Radio, Cinema and Television of our University’s Faculty of Communication, won first place in the Radio Drama category with his work ‘The Last Shout: Gaza’; Mehmet Emin Rehan won third place in the Animated Film category with his work ‘The Great Reunion’. Gökdeniz Demiral’s work ‘Futbolun İki Yüzü’ was a finalist in the Radio Program category.

The President of the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA) Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Şeker, who came to our university to visit Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alişarlı, congratulated the students who won the Future Communicators Competition organized by TRT and wished them continued success. He chatted with the students for a while.
